Just a quick note folks: Captain X has enter Numberland! Yes, that's right - thanks to Elmo's cool Sesame Street episode about numbers Captain X is now learning his numbers. So far, he has started to recognize the numbers: 2, 4, and most importantly the number 5. Why 5? Well, it's because when the clock hand points to the number 5 on the clock and if Mommy is ever so late picking him up, he'll point to the clock when she arrives and yells, "Clock-a! Clock-a! Five! Five!" I guess Mommy needs to pick him up on time or else!
In other news, he's been doing real good with his alphabets, learning almost all of them. He does get a couple mixed up though, such as "M" and "W" and "Q" with "O". When we sing the ABC song, he yells out what probably are his favorite letters (?): D, G, B, X (not in any order).
And that is another peek into the daily adventures of Captain X! Stay tuned as we'll be embarking on another fun adventure called "Potty Training" in the next few weeks.

Driving Captain X, Busy Superhero
Each weekday morning, Captain X and Mommy take a drive to Grandma's so that he can play with cousin Jenna while Mommy works. Yesterday morning, while on their short drive Mommy heard this little guy busy chatting on the phone. To whom, we don't know. We can only assume that it must be super important superhero business.
[Opening scene: Captain X flips open his green cell phone and pushes buttons frantically while sitting in the back carseat.]
"Uh, huh. Uh, huh. I'm fine. Uh, huh. Okay, bye."
[Closing scene: Captain X flips down phone and looks away into the side window at something as drive along.]

Christmas 2007 Snapshot
Yes, it's been a while! Indeed, a much-needed recap of Captain X's Christmas 2007 adventure and 2nd birthday activities reports are definitely in order... We've all been busy these parts of the world. Our 2007 Christmas was was not as crazy as it was for 2006 (Thank goodness! We still have presents that we have not opened yet for Captain X! We're doling it out a month at a time.)!
But, we thought we should share a snapshot of Captain X and proud dad of Captain X is (gasp, is that almost matching outfits?) on Christmas Eve. Yes, that is a tie that Captain X is sportin'...a first of many for him!
We'll share more soon! Until the next adventurer of Captain X!
